Welcoming Amelia Katherine Mlnarik

Amelia Katherine arrived this morning at 8:46am weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces and 19.5 inches long. Amelia and Mom are resting up at Stanford Hospital in room 121B and will be headed home early next week.

Maverick John's Baptism

This past weekend we drove up to Sacramento for the baptism of Maverick John VanAssen. JT requested that we send him ahead days before the event, but his mother wouldn't allow it.

So we drove up Friday night instead.

JT enjoyed getting dressed up and was well behaved at Church (for the most part)

Happy Halloween

JT dressed up as a spider this Halloween and had a great time at the Youth Activity Center during the day and handing out candy at night.

Aunt Tricia and uncle Joe came over with jack-o-lanterns, candy, and cake. Dad even got out of class a little early! By the end of the evening the spider costume saw its share of candy too.

Grandma Jan Visits Long Time!

Grandma Jan came to visit and watch JT while Grandma Joyce partied elsewhere. JT and Grandma Jan, however, wasted no time... having a party of their own. JT was like Tom Cruise in Risky Business.
Of course there was lots of swinging and winking at the ladies over the top of his sunglasses.
And there was some trouble with the car...
Before the month was over... JT had partied like he was a college man...
Watched a lot of football (here he is with the chip bowl on his head).
And gone WILD partying with the KIDS.
When it came time for Grandma Jan to leave, Kody and JT were both down in the dumps.
We didn't want Grandma Jan to go...
But we're looking forward to her visiting again soon.

Pumpkin Patch - Round 2

With all of his experience picking out pumpkins last year, JT knew just what to do.
Walking through the pumpkin patch this year JT made his selections carefully.
Of course we chose the pumpkin patch because of the little red tractor!
