Baptism of John Tyler

John Tyler was baptised today at Saint Justin's Parish a few blocks from our house. Grandpa Tom is John Tyler's Godfather and aunt Tricia is John T's Godmother.

John liked the water and didn't cry a bit. He was a little talkative during the ceremony, however, praising God whenever he pleased! All were amused.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody

Thanksgiving is great... we watched a lot of football, ate a lot of turkey, and spent time with family.














John Wisnieski and Sara Lewis were here... I showed them my toe touch and they were impressed.














Grandma and Grandpa Mlnarik and of course Aunt Tricia were here... I kept them up late (until almost 8:30!).














Aunt Kathy, who heard I had been teething, sent me this... It's an ear of corn that vibrates when you bite it! Oh what a feeling!!!














At the end of the day even Kody was too tired to eat anything else... I can't wait for Thanksgiving next year!

Bath Time is So Much FUN!

John T. loves bath time. Tonight he was splashing around and looking at his reflection in the front window. John T. also likes to open his mouth and drink the water as we pour it over him to rinse him off.

In other news, John T. had a doctor appointment earlier today and weighed in at 16 lbs and is 66.5 cm long. He had a good time in the lobby looking around at all the other babies. But mom and grandma didn't appreciate the long wait at the doctor's office.

We've started feeding him fruit and switched from rice cereal to oatmeal. Grandma Joyce likes to mix in a few peaches with the oatmeal... John is more likely to finish the oatmeal that way... and he eats them faster too.

Sitting Up!

John T. is sitting up on his own! It has been fun watching him get bigger, move around more, and develop a personality.
